About This Service
Equity Connections Programs are designed to create career training and development in growing sectors of industry.
Equity for Industry programs were created to provide marginalized community members with training and career development opportunities in the cannabis industry. Lead programs include:
- Equity for Industry Workshop - Bimonthly workshops featuring industry leaders, facilitates lectures on the various nuances of the cannabis industry.
- Budding Industry Job Shop - Learn about new job openings and what it takes to get employed in the cannabis industry.
- Cannabis Resume Clinic – By appointment only. By schedule ONLY 20 minute One on One resume review sessions for cannabis job seekers.
- Expungement Clinic– provides an opportunity for those with a criminal background of a second chance at living a normal life. Requirements: Must be two (2) years removed from the Justice System (parole/probation). Persons with violent or sexual offenses do not qualify for this clinic.

Construction program is a pathway to meaningful employment for Bay Area residents. We offer one series for young people ages 18 to 24 and another for individuals who are 25 and older. Participants can expect:
- hard skills in construction and related trades
- wraparound services
- life skills training
- assistance with academic study
- case management
- career coaching
- job placement
- retention services
- basic skills in construction trades
- NCCER-recognized certifications.

Career Coaching Provide customized plan for you, starting with an assessment that fulfills U.S. Department of Labor guidelines and continuing to comprehensive case management. Your plan will specify goals, barriers, and support needed to develop a career path. Will guide you through the entire process, preparing you for work and then giving you a warm hand off to a potential employer.
Employer Spotlights Employer Spotlights connect jobseekers to employers such as Amazon, Safeway, CVS, United Airlines, and California Pacific Medical Center.
Job Fairs Success Centers conducts hiring fairs, one in partnership with Mayor’s Youth Jobs+ in San Francisco, that can connect you with employers actively offering employment opportunities. Most fairs feature more than 40 employers and hundreds of openings. They can also refer you to other job fairs, both inside and outside the areas we serve.

Code on Point
Code On Point is a 41-week 3-phase BOOTcamp full of opportunities and incentives that allow trainees to choose from a path in Design, IT, or Web Design. Code on Point empowers low-income, disconnected, and marginalized youth with the skills and confidence to prepare them for the fourth industrial revolution. Participants enjoy multiple opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications, build competency in multiple technology subsets, and foster soft skills to help them with an upward professional trajectory. *updated 4/1/24*
Early Morning Study Academy
Credentialed teachers and counselors meet the unique needs of participants to achieve the goals of: - high school diploma/GED - life skills and job readiness training - assistance with college and financial aid applications - assistance with human needs such as childcare All within a safe and supportive environment. The EMSA takes place Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM at our Employment, Education & Training Center (EETC). *04/1/2024*
Pathways
Pathways is a **free** 8-week virtual learning series for **all members of the community**. You may take all four tracks or just one. Enrollment is ongoing. Tracks are: - Art: Enhance your ability to tell your story through visual arts, film making, spoken word, and songwriting. - Life Skills and Job Readiness Training: Learn how to improve your life management skills and employment prospects. - Computer Literacy: Increase your technical skills and receive certifications. *04/1/2024*
Young Adult Subsidized Employment
Young adults between the ages of 18 - 24 receive up to 500 hours of subsidized on-the-job training in the fields of Tech, Construction, and Healthcare at Success Centers as preparation for transition to full-time employment. Our staff provides training, mentorship, and support as participants learn and practice professional skills. Affordable Housing Assistance
